Its 4am here and this will be my last journal about "being gay is a choice" subject. After this, I will talk no more about this issue.

I need to thank you all you people spend you time reply to what I said. This means a lot to me and I did learn quite a lot from you guys.

First, I need to tell you guys a story about me.

I was a very ill kid. From 3 to 8, I spend most of my time either in hospital or in bed at home. My family was poor at that time and I have few toy to play with. Before I can read, drawing is my biggest joy of my life.

I can't remember which hand I used to draw pictures at very beginning. But as far as I know, I feel more comfortable doing stuff with my left hand. When my grandpa found out that I’m left-handed, he is in raged. Because where I come from, everyone are right-handed because its the right thing to do. Our written language was designed for right-handed. My grandpa afraid that I will get bullied at school because I’m left-handed. So he focus me to use my right hand to do drawing.

My father on the other hand, he is very open-minded. Because I was having a big straggle using right hand and I clearly don’t want to. He insist that grandpa should leave me be. They even get into a big fight about my “right hand” education. After that fight, my father and grandpa don’t speak to each other for years. For me, I continue draw happily with my right hand.

But after I start elementary school (I didn’t attend preschool because of my illness), the teacher found out that I’m left-handed and have a meeting with my parents, Because my teacher have difficulty teach me how to write with left-hand. They insist that I should use my right hand to write otherwise they will not able to teach me. My father finally yielded.

Now I use my right hand to write and left hand to draw (and most of stuff). And in fact, I never get negative response from modern society. Most of people think I’m extra smart because I can use both of my hands to do stuff.

Here is a question. Do I choose what hand I use to do most of stuff? This is clearly an action. But the first time I hold a pen, I never realize this is a choice. I simply just do it. I didn’t realize that is a choice until people point of using left-hand is wrong. I did went though a hard time trying to learn to write with my right hand but I finally made it.

There are many choice that we made in our life but didn’t realize it is a choice. We just go with it. Like Alice follow the rabbit driving by curiosity, but the deeper you go down the rabbit hole, the harder to turn back. Maybe we human always have the potential to love both gender. Unless you are at the far end of the spectrum. It is possible for you to love both man and woman. Maybe for most gay people, they just have more love about same gender.
Are you right handed, left handed or both? Does it ever bother you when you made a choice of which hand you use? If both hands have equal rights, does this matter?
