You'll probably get a more timely response if you ask in Gallery Star Runners. I don't follow that kind of arts myself.

Anthropomorphic art does not include any of the following types of characters:
* Mythological creatures with predominately human characteristics, such as fauns, nagas, centaurs, classical Egyptian gods (animal-headed humans), classical minotaurs, vampires, faeries, etc.
* Kemonomimi, which are (for distinguishable purposes) normal humans with animal ears, tails, and/or fangs added, such as catboys, dogboys, etc. Specific examples include Yoko Kurama of Yuyu Hakusho/Poltergeist Report and Ritsuko from Loveless.
* Fantasy creatures, such as elves, driders, orcs, dwarves, etc.
I still call shinagins on this, shinagins!

So even chibis with imaginary tails are not allowed? O__O even if they are mostly "human" too? So does loveless art also get banned for the ears and tails too?
WTF! I I didnt have "Furries" in a pic I recently posted and it was reported? O__O wtf >.> It was Kemonomimi

Hmm..I'm not sure about this. I am a furry artist myself, but so far i have only posted the few human drawings i've done, and no furry, since i understand that this place is mainly for human yaoi. But i feel a little grumpy about not being able to post any furry yaoi, although i would keep those submissions to a minimum. Can't it be like on VCL, where a small amount of humans are allowed aas long as the majority of your gallery consists of furries? Ah well. It's not the end of the world.

I would recommend looking into FurAffinity for all your artsy needs, then.

ya know, i dont know if im beating a dead horse here, but in my opinion people should just stop bitching about it and go to vcl or any one of the numerous sites that host furry art. i know its a shitty solution to the problem, but theres no sense in arguing it anymore. the same thing happened to me - i was sick of the shit on deviantart where my male nudes got deleted. yes, i was pissed, and there wasnt even some big new rule put out about it - it was just the intolerance of the moderators. it sucked, but i figured there was no sense in crying about it...so i came here. as its been said already, theres plenty of other sites that host furry art with no fuss, and i know it sucks to be "ousted" from this site, but whats the point in arguing? theyre not going to change the rule back.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most of the metaphorical storm has blown over, and I'm sure the majority of affected users have either adjusted their content here or moved on to other sites like FurAffinity or VCL or the like. In all honestly, however, FurAffinity is the only site out there that can compare to what Y! offered the anthro community. So . . . s'all good.
Shoot, I don't even come here for art anymore. It's the boredom that drives me.
And since you're talking about moving on, I'm pretty sure your horse is the only one left alive anymore.

Agreed, and Furaffinity (its speed problems recently fixed) offers a similar service to what this website offers, yet designed for anthro content.

So this site is basically dead now! What a shame. The rules need to be refined to allow an equal balance of both sides of the art community. However, this isn't my site so my opinion, however valid it is, means nothing. I draw but none of my artwork has ever been online so it doesn't make much of a difference.
I however think that the rule revisions were a very bad idea. If you don't mind me saying this: *clears throat* You have effectively shot yourself in the proverbial foot with the new rule revisions. Banning one type of artwork just because it has taken over the site doesn't help matters. I would never have just told a huge chunk of my site members aka artist to 'Go Away' just because their type of art is no longer within the boundaries of the inconsiderate and not carefully thought out new rules. This site has lost a lot of its members. Am I correct? The furry artwork wasn't the problem and neither is the human artwork.
The problem lies in the fact that there was unbalance between how much of each was on this site. The rules as they were before didn't help matters and the revised rules don't help matter either. Going to one extreme just to fix a problem that wasn't that big of problem to begin with is just sad. I use to like this site for all of its many types of yoai art diversity whether it was furry, human or a mix between the two. Now, the site has just become like many others that have come and are now gone.... Ordinary!
If you are going to make rules at least take into consideration of all the artist and members who contribute to the site. For without the artist there wouldn't be a y!Gallery site period.

Yes, Y! sure lost a chunck of it's members, but as the staff has said time and again, numbers are not what they're shooting for. So . . . ya know . . . whatever.
They're catering to humans here, and so be it. Furaffinity is now the closest thing furs have to Y!, and the staff there is doing majikal things to make it an awesome gallery.
Taking all artists into consideration is a noble gesture, but quite frankly that's not what Y! is (or ever was?) about.
edit: spelling. >.<
